When you request a quote or use our services, we may collect:

• your identity: first and last name;
• your contact details: email address and phone number;
• the address where the work is to be performed;
• your status (owner or tenant);
• photos of the area to be repaired that you send us;
• messages and notes related to your project.

We apply data minimization: we only collect what is necessary for the purposes below.

• prepare and send you a quote;
• schedule, coordinate and carry out the work;
• invoice you and collect payment;
• communicate with you (reminders, follow-ups, after-sales);
• meet our legal, accounting and tax obligations.

By sending us your information (for example through the quote form), you consent to its use for the purposes above. This consent is free and informed, and no box is pre-checked. You may withdraw your consent at any time by writing to ferafermtl@gmail.com, subject to information we must keep to comply with the law.

Our site does not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels (no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel).

We only use strictly necessary cookies (for example to keep a secure session when you log into a private area). We also use cookieless audience measurement (Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights) that compiles anonymized traffic statistics without tracking you across sites.

We never sell your information. We rely on trusted service providers who process it only on our behalf. Some host or process data outside Quebec, notably in the United States and Europe:

• Supabase — database and photo storage (USA);
• Vercel — website hosting and audience measurement (USA);
• Google — calendar, contacts and email sending (USA);
• Anthropic (Claude) — help drafting quotes and reading receipts (USA);
• OpenStreetMap / Nominatim — converting addresses to coordinates (Europe).

Before any transfer outside Quebec, we carry out a privacy impact assessment to ensure your information receives adequate protection.

We keep your information only as long as necessary for the purposes it was collected, then destroy or anonymize it. Certain documents (invoices, accounting and tax records) are kept for the period required by law, generally six (6) years.

We apply reasonable security measures: encrypted transport (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, time-limited file links, and isolation of sensitive data. No system is foolproof, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we handle your information with the utmost care.

Under Law 25, you have the right to:

• access the information we hold about you;
• have it corrected if inaccurate or incomplete;
• obtain a copy in a structured technological format (portability);
• withdraw consent or request deletion, within the limits of the law.

To exercise a right, write to ferafermtl@gmail.com. We respond within 30 days. If our response does not satisfy you, you may file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.

Our employees' personal information (contact details, payroll, tax information) is processed solely for employment management and tax compliance, and is subject to the same protections and rights described above.

We may update this policy. Any significant change will be posted on this page with a new update date.
